Pep Guardiola is in Medinah…
Watching the Ryder Cup!
He was invited by Spanish Team Europe captain Jose Maria Olazabal. In fact, Olazabal gave the team a sort of ‘Pep Talk’, by showing them clips from various movies such as The Gladiator, and speech made by Al Pacino in ‘Any Given Sunday’, with clips of Team Europe winning the previous Ryder Cups as well as memorable moments of Seve Ballesteros. It also included some winning moments from FC Barcelona’s Guardiola seasons, Usain Bolt, Spain’s World Cup victory and World Cup Rugby.
I am a long-time USA fan, but I’m glad Pep’s method of motivation is being used to inspire other sporting greats.

I would not be even surprised if he’s sitting next to Spike Lee, courtside watching the Knicks at MSG. Or with Sarah Jessica Parker/ Matthew Broderick / Billy Crystal at the Yankees game. Or even at the Rangers or Jets game.
And I heard he loves Woody Allen. Maybe they’re neighbors in Upper East Side, in case if he lives there. Maybe Woody would cast him in one of his movies. Revisiting Vicky, Cristina, Barcelona???

I wouldn’t be surprised if he becomes its next coach. It’s like a paid vacation. You work and at the same time, you get to do what you really love.
